History
The college was established on 15 June 1970. As per geographical Point of view from dondaicha 20 Km ‘Tapi’ River Basin, in Dondaicha two servers ‘Amrawati’ and ‘Bhogawati’, then From dondaicha 60 km Maharashtra fames hills station Toranmal also. Dondaicha city on M. Height above sea level.
From June 1970 Hon. Dr. Nanasaheb Hemantrao B. Deshmukh (Ex. Minister M.S.) was Established our College affiliation under the university of Pune. At this time Frist Principal Purushotam Patil, He was a Famous Marathi Poet, Then Prin. B. B. Patil, Then Prin. L. B. Sonavane, Then Prin. H. S. Patil. After them now Prof. V. M. Patil worked as Principal.
Smt. P. B. Bagal College is a Leading college From dhule District in Maharashtra. The College has Organized various programmes for Rural, Tribal, Poor, Needful and Backward students. Young Boys and Girls, Man and Women so their social, Economical, Educational, cultural and agricultural and all their development. For that, Education Be given in suitable Environment . For higher Education spreading of Knowledge in student, parents and in the society for the communication of society. From this Independent Equality and Brotherhood should be created. This is the main aim of our College for this we try our best.

The college gives education in two faculties: Arts and Commerce for which the college has full fledged building with all infrastructural facilities, play ground, library, well-build class rooms, etc.

It gives me great pleasure to introduce Smt. P. B. Bagal college of Art’s and Commerce Dondaicha. Academic institute play’s a great role in enabling young people to have a grand vision and to equip them with overall ability and precise skill to change the vision into reality. We decide an aim to give good higher education to rural and tribal younger ones for their better tomorrow. We follow this aim from the establishment of this institute and we have succeeded it till today. We open the doors of Arts and commerce faculty for the sons and daughters of poor farmers and workers. 90% students in our college are coming from rural and tribal area for shaping their future.
Our institute has a big campus on the right side of Dhule - Nandubar highway. The building of our college is big with good Class-rooms. Other features include Playground, Library, Gymkhana which are always useful to student’s. We provide free environment to study and research for students for their better tomorrow.
The coming years ahead are special for all of us. It has seen the completion of 50 highful years of our College. It is special honors to be carrying the proverbial flag of this respected institution. It is with the sense of professional pride and personal humility that I would like to briefly touch upon the achievements so far and point to the way forward.
As per the requirement of 21st Century our institute is re-orienting itself to the quality and relevance of its educational bouquet. Members will be happy to know that the massive renovation program has now going on for NAAC Accreditation of our college. In near future we start some more subsidiary U.G. and P.G. courses and extracurricular programs for students.
Finally, I must express my gratitude to my entire team, office bearers, committee members, Principals, faculty members, staff and workforce. I have endeavoured to bring this wider perspective to bear on the many opportunities and challenges that lie ahead of the institute. We have plans for further modernization and you will soon see some more qualitative changes in infrastructure, courses and facilities to students as per this century demands.

Dear Students,
I would like to welcome you in the Family of Smt. P. B. Bagal Art’s and Commerce College. Dondaicha. This esteemed centre of higher learning established in June 1970 by Hon. Nanasaheb Dr. Hemantrao B. Deshmukh with the help of rural and urban people. Our mission is to impart quality higher education embodying literary, cultural, commercial, mental, moral, social, sciences, and corresponding research to the student’s from Rural, Tribal and semi-urban area.
The role of a college is not only to impart knowledge that encompasses the prescribed syllabi of institution but also of the world beyond the class-room. For the growth of interdisciplinary approach and versatile personality with good leadership, we grow the infrastructure a large campus with Gymkhana, Auditorium, a large play ground, Health center, well equipped Departments & Geography lab, Computer Lab, Language Lab, and big library with reading room and large collection of book daily news paper’s with magazine. We organized, University, state, National level conferences, Seminars, campus interview in different emerging subjects to impart knowledge with new trends of society.
Increase Social, National, Moral value in student’s our N.S.S. and N.C.C. departments arrange camps every year. We run Earn and Learn program for poor students to unwise value of self-dependence. We also arrange Yuvati sabha by this we organize girls health and hygiene program, self protection mission for their welfare.
Without exaggeration I can claim that Smt. P. B. Bagal College is a point of excellence and Commitment moulding young minds shaping our youth for bright tomorrow.
